Introduction: According to their code of ethics, psychology professionals must fight any type of violence and discrimination, thus recognizing racism as a determinant in health. This study aims to analyze Salvador’s clinical psychologist’s ways of practice against racism, and racism-related patient demands. Methods: It’s a qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory research. We analyzed six interviews with Salvador psychologists who identify as black and work with race relations. Results: The results show that racism appears in clinical practice, as a primary demand or related to another suffering state. Discussions and Conclusions: After identifying it, there’s a concern about potentialize ways of elaboration of this specific suffering. This data can help psychological activity about psychic suffering brought on by racism.
