In traditional psychiatric science, in general, a notion of dangerousness is attributed to the subject with a mental disorder and not to the conditions that led him to manage his behavior. It is ignored, therefore, that the actions, criminal or not, are complex phenomena, which result from the interaction between the subjects and the concrete reality. Our goal is to discuss the concept of dangerousness and demonstrate the importance of structuring mental health services as a way of caring for the criminal-crazy. To do so, we reconstructed, through a case study, the emblematic relationship of a person who suffers psychically with mental health services. Our research revealed that dangerousness can be generated much more in the conflicts of the State than in the conditions presented by the person with mental disorder in conflict with the law.
