This academic work presents an intervention research with the purpose of monitoring the processes of subjectivation, care and autonomy with women drug users, from the creation of a group as a clinical-political device of mental health, in the city of Criciúma, Santa Catarina. A cartographic research was developed through the collective contributions of group meetings, with the writing of a field diary and an affective listening to the narratives. The results are presented in two categories, identified as: breaking stigmas and empowering freedom; and women drug users and the politicization of self-care. The need of making disruptions in the field of psychosocial care was evidenced, in order to enhance women’s subjectivities through the exercise of self-care and the politicization of this care.
