This study aims: (a) to describe, based on Behavior Analysis and iterative design's principles, the development procedure of one version of a physical prototype of Korsan, a digital educational game; and (b) to evaluate the usability and engagement promoted by the game. Secondarily, it was intended to evaluate teaching and testing of mathematical conditional relations presented by the game and its effect over solving of addition and subtraction problems. The subject was a 6 years old child. It was taught and tested, by means of adapted domino games, conditional relations with numbers, point sets, addition and subtraction problems, these tested with algorisms and balance, with unknown terms in a, b and c. Usability and engagement were evaluated by the subject's categorized registry of behaviors. It was observed improvement in subject's performance over resolution of addition problems with the unknown term in position b and subtraction problems with the unknown term in position a. It was observed maintenance in subject's engagement and the need of adjustment to enhance usability in the digital version of the game. Future research could make the suggested adjustments and investigate the effects of the game on problem solving of individuals with low initial performance.
