In an audience with the then Health Minister Alexandre Padilha, on April 17, 2013, the MPASP reaffirmed its support for the implementation of the Line of Care document. In this context, the MPASP expressed its concerns about the publication by the Ministry of Health of another document - Rehabilitation Guidelines - linked to the Network of Care for Persons with Disabilities in SUS. We analyze the documents from four axes: 1) Their objectives; 2) The conceptions of autism and deficiency present in each one of them; 3) The idea of early detection that each one supports; 4) The proposal of ordering a flow of attention in SUS networks with regard to autism. The analysis that we make, from the disposition of convergences, divergences and our critical comments to the documents aims to defend the permanence of the notion of subject in the field of treatment to autism with regard to the establishment of a public policy of health care.
