BALDIN, Talita y RAVIZZINI, Simone. From the Directions of an Analysis: Constructions and Reconstructions of Own History as of the Lacan’s Interpretation. Analytica [online]. 2023, vol.12, n.23, pp.1-16. Epub 05-Sep-2025. ISSN 2316-5197. https://doi.org/10.69751/arp.v12i23.4211.
This article starts from the conception of subject, supported by Lacan’s thought, which points to something that disappears in the advent of meaning. Based on this assumption, it proposes to characterize what would be the function of the self, placing it within the analytical context, in the face of interpretation in an analysis. Given this, would be the place as it is used to understanding as a unit that constitutes us and that elaborates all of our thinking. Although this seems to be a simple question, the reading of Freudian texts, from the perspective of Lacan, offers interpretation another place – and an essential place, when defining the direction of an analysis, not as one that encourages the strengthening of the self, but as one that provides a path that supports the emptiness that consists of us. Considering this, this work seeks to explain the processes that constitute an analysis, emphasizing the support of a singular space that allows the subject to reinvent their own history, respecting the emptiness that is inherent to them.
