In this article, we aim to explore some intertwining between the fields of psychoanalysis, education, and politics. We start with Freudian contributions on the dynamics of groups, in which we highlight submission to the leader as a way of controlling hostilities, but also the possibility of conceiving phratries that go beyond this alienation. We continue with what Winnicott tells us about the potential space as a place for creative play and a certain possible agreement in our psyche and among those who share this atmosphere. We then approach Balint's analytical group as an example of a clinical device that similarly follows this line drawn. Finally, we discussed and shared three experiences whose guiding thread consists of research reports in the school space, illustrating the theme studied. In addition to being crossed by psychoanalytic, educational, and political issues, these experiences highlight the possibility of the existence of collectives that work as creative spaces. From this perspective, we believe there can be places of cooperation and agreement, despite inevitable conflicts. From this, we address the following question: can these places be linked to a more democratic type of positioning? Finally, we argue that even if there is confrontation – as it is intrinsic to human life – there may be different possibilities for collectively creating solutions.
