Love and romantic relationships are currently phenomena of intense interest and problematization for psychological science, ranging from the clinical sphere to research practices in the field of interpersonal attraction. The objective of this study was to identify the state of the art of Brazilian productions in the field of love psychology and romantic relationships, in the periods between 2013 and 2020. Methodologically, the ScIELO, LILACS and PePSIC databases were consulted, using the descriptors “relationships amorous” or “love”. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 94 productions were analyzed in full, 29 theoretical and 65 empirical. A multi-methodological and thematic plurality was observed, along with different strategies of data analysis collection, strengthening research results with similar characteristics, with different methodologies. Updating previous reviews, the results support that the topic is in full development in the country, with increasingly robust data, strengthening the area of research in the Brazilian scenario.
