Resumo

Objectives:
This research aimed to analyze the characteristics of environmental stressors in the home office of a Technology worker.
Method:
It was a qualitative exploratory-descriptiv research that used the Grounded Theory methodology in data analysis and the Atlas T software as a tool. The semi-structured interview script was used as a data collection instrument until saturation, which occurred when 14 participants were reached, seven men and seven women.
Results:
From the data analysis, three categories of analysis of environmental stressors were protected: remote work stressors, sensory stressors, and social stressors.
Conclusão:
From these categories, it was possible to understand the importance of personalizing the work environment at home to minimize damage to quality of life and physical and psychological well-being, in addition to contributing to the advancement of Environmental Psychology, considering the context of the environment at home office, as emerging and little explored by the scientific literature so far.
