Published since 1983, Revista JUNGUIANA has undergone various transformations throughout its history. These different phases reflected the maturation of our editorial project, the growth of SBPA and the changes that have occurred in the world over the last four decades, which, as we know, have occurred at an intense pace. The social acceleration experienced in contemporary culture causes technical, social, values and behavioral changes.

Thus, to address the evolving needs of authors, readers and the publishing world, Revista Junguiana is undergoing another transformation! We have adopted OJS (Open Journal Systems), the world’s most widely used journal management and publishing software, as our new publishing model. In this system, submissions can be made permanently, in a continuous flow, facilitating the communication between the vehicle and the authors, as well as the monitoring of the submission, evaluation, possible acceptance and publication process. In its current configuration, the journal is digital and free, publishing, in Portuguese, English and Spanish, original texts and republishing texts from the printed phase of the journal. From this volume 42 onwards, articles will be published throughout the year. The journal will have a website structure making text consultation more agile. Furthermore, it will be in line with the requirements of indexers and will meet the authors’ request to provide DOI (Digital Object Identifier) attribution to articles.

Today, with over forty years of history, we continue to evolve to showcase SBPA’s contributions and to promote our participation in national and global events, all the while observing and reflecting on the psyche and its transformations to advocate for diversity and otherness. Our ethical commitment to individuals and their communities is grounded in respecting contemporary singularities, versatility, and multiplicity.

We extend our gratitude to everyone involved with Revista Junguiana: the authors who submit their works, the editorial board and the reviewers who generously carry out the assessments, the SBPA board for its support, and, most importantly, you, the readers, who are our primary motivation.
