Abstract

HARDMAN, Francisco Foot. Which way's down town, again? Notes about the global order of the unrest and refugees age. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2019, vol.41, n.67-68, pp.283-294. ISSN 0101-3106.

If globalization, for a very small minority of people, corporations and institutions, remains a real illusion irrigated by the unprecedented acceleration of fictitious capital, fleetingw consumption and fierce high technology, for the majority of the world's people, lived spaces-times continue to be those of social marginality, expulsion and misery. There will be pertinent concepts in today's human sciences to reflect on the reality of these contingents of tens or even hundreds of millions of human beings (considering the international refugees and also the so-called "internally displaced"), wandering all over the globe and throwing us their roaring voices and their last glances of pure tragedy?

Keywords : Refugees; Internally displaced persons; Economics of abandonment; Expulsion; Brutality; cocio-environmental collapse.
