Abstract

BULGARAO, Rosemary de Fátima. Unwanted from us: a few considerations about death, mourning work and capability of love nowadays. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2020, vol.42, n.69, pp.123-131. ISSN 0101-3106.

The author starts from the premise that in fact a denaturalization of death and mourning, which seems, to have led to a subtle but vigorous erasure of death. This process would result in a interdiction of mourning, not only preventing or make it impossible or difficult to install the mourning work, but also hindering the restoration of the ability to love.

Keywords : Death; Denaturalization; Mourning work; Ability to love.
