This research aimed to reflect on the training in Community Social Psychology and its consequences on the professional training of the future psychologists. It was guided by the question: What impact did the students of Psychology experience when they started their training in Community Social Psychology? The study collected data through a semi-structured questionnaire applied to 13 participants, fulfilling the ethical principles for research with human beings. The results indicated that the trainees understand that the psychosocial practices of Psychology refer to the reception of vulnerable people and that Psychology has as its main commitment: to listen to this subject. The research concluded that there is an impact on the trainees as a result of the social reality of the participants and groups with which they interact, as the elements brought by the research participants showed that this contact allowed them to deal with the negative social differences that Brazil still produces.
