Abstract

FARIA, Erika Vidal de. Write what can not be written: Clarice, the letter and the feminine. Reverso [online]. 2021, vol.43, n.81, pp.35-42. ISSN 0102-7395.

Art and literature teach us the dimension of invention in the face of reality as an impossible thing that never ceases to be written. It is from this that we propose to think about the writing of Clarice Lispector - an author known worldwide for the uniqueness and aesthetics of her text - in relation to the letter and the feminine. Supported by authorial and biographical reports of the writer, we will approach Clarice's lyrics thinking of her as a solution, no less arduous, in face of the effects of the not-all that mark almost all her literary work. Her writing could witness something of the unspeakable, the impossible, the maternal, the rest, the mystical, the Other enjoyment, the body, the lalangue. Through male fantasy, these nuances were called enigmas of femininity, which needed to be rescued from the depths of the black continent to be better understood. What perhaps went unnoticed by the speech governed by phallic logic is that, in the case of the feminine, we are more interested in investigating the singular testimonies of the not-all in the face of their singular inventions. What does Clarice have to teach us?

Keywords : Clarice Lispector; Female; Letter; Literature; Psychoanalysis.
