Based on the exposition and the analysis of subjective reports by a group of psychoanalysts about their experience of participating in a clinical supervision group within a public psychiatric hospital, the text outlines a series of reflections on the role of oversight in the continuing training of the psychoanalyst, and highlights humor and sexual tension as important elements for sustaining ambiguity, mobility and authorial inventiveness in the psychoanalytic clinic.
