The purpose of this article is to problematize the interventions of the United Nations Children's Fund's (UNICEF) that aim to govern the behavior of Brazilian families. It looks at how the UNICEF’s actions translate into individual and totalizing practices simultaneously in the management of children’s and adolescents’ bodies using the medicalization of their families. This paper provides a historical perspective through Foucault is the research’s result of an undergraduate research and a dissertation in progress that operates a political critique about the operation of the multilateral agencies today have been active in Brazil and is focused on ways of govern proposed by these agencies, what interests are at stake and witch other social, institutional and political actors are connected to them, in a neoliberal manner and with political economics’ parameters in favor of a global security, to the consolidation of what is named as peace and promoting human rights.
