Abstract

In 1964, filmmaker Eduardo Coutinho went to the northeastern to make a film about the murder of João Pedro Teixeira, leader of the Peasant Leagues, that demanded better working conditions. With the military coup,the fiction was interrupted and reshoot when the filmmaker goes to seek these people who were persecuted by the dictatorship and produces what has become one of the greatest Brazilian documentaries, "Cabra marcado para morrer".Through the production of the film, with the references of Freud and Lacan, we look for elements that concern the transmission and experience, and perspectives of a dialogue with Walter Benjamin.
