Resumen

GASPAR, Taís Ribeiro. Guilt feeling and ethics in psychoanalysis. Psyche (Sao Paulo) [online]. 2007, vol.11, n.20, pp.47-65. ISSN 1415-1138.

This paper analyses how psychoanalysis understands the relation between guilt feeling and ethics. We associate the human malaise to the lack of orientation of man action in the world. Thus, we characterize the ethical project as a search for such orientation, and therefore as an attempt to overcome the referred malaise. Freudian analysis of guilt feelings reveals that the way the ethical project is articulated in our civilization gives rise to this malaise. In this view, guilt feeling can be understood as a determined way of the articulation of an ethical problem.

Palabras clave : Guilt feeling; Malaise; Misguidance; Ethics; Psychoanalysis.
