Resumen

GREGGIANIN, Barbara Frare; TARRES, Joan Pujol  y  HAMANN, Cristiano. Who can speak and what can be said? (De) legitimation strategies on a feminist facebook page. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2023, vol.23, n.56, pp.1-22.  Epub 27-Mayo-2024. ISSN 2175-1390.

The present study investigates rhetorical strategies aimed at sustaining feminist discourses on a Facebook page. A Virtual Ethnography was carried out, a methodology through which publications focused on three thematic axes were selected, chosen according to criteria of visibility of the publications: victim/victimization, race/class, abortion/religion. The analysis of the material made it possible to identify that different narrative positions, of self-legitimization, of legitimation and of delegitimation were produced based on eight strategic types of rhetoric: scientific knowledge; status and privilege; selective indignation; hierarchy; contempt; personal opinion; experience; irony. In the Brazilian context of intense stratification, hierarchization and political resentment, these rhetorics point to challenges and strengths for feminisms that are increasingly focused on forms of political coalition.

Palabras clave : Discourse; Gender; Feminism; Social Media.
