^lpt^aEste artigo se refere a uma pesquisa sobre representações de dois contos de fadas e teve como objetivo analisar aspectos afetivos e cognitivos de crianças, de diferentes idades, e sua interferência nas representações de histórias. O principal subsídio teórico foi a perspectiva piagetiana, quanto a sentimentos, interesses, valorizações atribuídas às personagens e quanto aos julgamentos sobre suas ações, atitudes e caráter. As análises dos dados indicaram que as crianças mais velhas tendem a escolher aspectos mais abstratos das histórias, enquanto as crianças mais jovens tendem a escolher aspectos mais concretos e materiais.^len^aThis paper presents a research about children’s representations about two fairy tales in order to analyze some aspects of their emotions and intelligence, related to stories’ representation. The main theoretical background was the Piagetian approach about emotions, interests, affective valorizations and judgments about stories’ characters. The analysis showed that older children based their judgments and valorizations on abstract characters’ aspects, while younger children presented concrete and material choices.
