^lpt^aEste artigo apresenta a ideia de que o discurso do paciente na sessão psicanalítica contém elementos verbais que, pela força da transferência, sofrem transmutações tais como aliterações, escansões, efeitos rítmicos, repetições, entre outros, que lhe conferem estrutura poética. São símbolos presentificadores das vivências, cuja apreensão é base indispensável da interpretação psicanalítica.^len^aThis paper presents the idea that the patient’s discourse in the analytic session contains verbal elements that, through the force of transference, suffer transformations such as alliterations, scansions, rhythmical effects, repetitions, among others, which provide it with a poetic structure. They are symbols which bring to presence experiences, whose understanding is an indispensable basis for the psychoanalytic interpretation.
