^lpt^aApresentamos alguns aspectos da compulsão à repetição na toxicomania. Destacamos: a) a tendência à utilização da atuação (Agieren) como meio de efetuar a descarga do excesso pulsional; b) o trabalho da pulsão de morte; c) a coação a repetir o uso da droga; d) a impulsividade; e e) a repetição como tentativa de promover o trabalho da Bindung. Ressaltamos que esses aspectos não são excludentes e não podem ser verificados em todos os casos. No entanto, são elementos que, em graus diferentes, podem ser identificados como parte de um modo de relacionamento do sujeito com o seu objeto de paixão, nesse caso, a droga.^len^aIn this paper we present some aspects of the compulsion to repeat in drug addiction, highlighting: a) the tendency to use acting-out (Agieren) as a means of achieving the discharge of drive excess; b) the work of the death instinct; c) the coercion to repeat drug intake; d) impulsivity, and e) repetition as an attempt to promote the work of Bindung. We emphasize that these aspects are not mutually exclusive and cannot be verified in all cases. However, they are elements that, to different degrees, can be identified as part of a way of relation between the subject and the object of his passion, in this case, the drug in itself.
