^lpt^aO objetivo deste artigo é apresentar a escrita de testemunho como uma saída para o acontecimento traumático; saída que não passa necessariamente pelos processos representativos propostos na teoria freudiana. Para isso, buscamos ampliar a noção de memória da Carta 52, tomando como base os conceitos de neurose traumática, dor e figurabilidade. Esses conceitos serão articulados à necessidade de escrever destacada na literatura de testemunho. A linguagem do sensível e o desmentido, proposta por Ferenczi, nos auxilia a entender a escrita de testemunho como uma forma criativa de lidar com o traumático e, também, como um mecanismo de proteção contra a indiferença do outro.^len^aThe aim of this article is to present the writing of testimony as a means of exit for the traumatic event, an issue that bypasses the representative processes proposed in Freudian theory. For this reason, we seek to widen the concept of memory, as in Letter 52, assuming as background the concepts of traumatic neurosis, pain and figurability. These concepts are connected to the need to write, highlighted in the literature of testimony. The language of the sensitive and the denial, as proposed by Ferenczi, helps us to understand the writing of testimony as a creative way of dealing with trauma and also as a protective mechanism against the indifference of the other.
