^lpt^aO artigo traz algumas reflexões sobre a presença de um psicanalista em espaços que não são, nem o consultório privado, nem outro estabelecimento da rede da saúde. Neste caso, o trabalho se deu no projeto Ação Social pela Música do Brasil, uma orquestra de cordas situada em uma favela carioca. Grande parte dos alunos desse projeto era marcado por um tipo de sofrimento social que, com Ferenczi, pode ser compreendido como um tipo de desmentido, cujas repercussões psíquicas envolvem alguma desvitalização do sujeito, uma fragmentação subjetiva ou o que Winnicott chamaria de um empobrecimento da criatividade.^len^aThis article offers certain reflections about the presence of a psychoanalyst in environments that are neither private consultations, nor other establishments part of the healthcare network. In this case, the work involved a string orchestra located high up in a favela of Rio de Janeiro. Most of the children and teenagers catered to by this project were marked by some form of social suffering, the result of a lack of social recognition that, according to Ferenczi, can be considered a form of denial. Among the psychological implications is the devitalization of the subject, subjective fragmentation or what Winnicott would call the depletion of creativity.
