LIMA, Elynes Barros. Even or odd?. []. , 32, pp.151-155. ISSN 1676-157X.

This paper addresses the concept of the "One" from a few lessons of the seminar "The Knowledge of the psychoanalyst", in which Lacan argues about the emergence of this concept from a new discourse, the discourse of the analyst. He departs from the logic, and through the set theory, he explains the foundation of the "One" as a place where something misses, but also where there is a presence which insists to appear repetitively. Thus, the author uses the "even or odd" metaphor to respectively approach the identification and distinction, S1, a product of the analyst's speech.
