^lpt^aA intenção deste artigo é apresentar contribuições do pensamento freudiano para a teoria política. Para isto, delinearemos a construção freudiana sobre o mito do surgimento da sociedade como sendo a dissertação sobre a temática do contrato social. Assim, a versão psicanalítica da constituição das sociedades modernas presente em Totem e Tabu será confrontada com as teses contratualistas da fundação do Estado Moderno, elaboradas por Hobbes e Rousseau, tendo em vista as reflexões críticas de Freud sobre o Estado como garantidor da ordem. Tomaremos como eixo principal a problemática da igualdade, que pode ser questionada com o conceito de narcisismo das pequenas diferenças. Ao discorrer sobre os destinos da força pulsional na constituição do social, vislumbrando seus limites sublimatórios, aprofundaremos como Freud arquiteta esta ideia, e posteriormente avançaremos para a crítica da precária harmonia política construída entre os homens.^len^aThe aim of this article is to present contributions of the freudian thought to political theory. For this, we outline the freudian construction about the myth of society’s birth as a dissertation on the topic of social contract. Thus, the psychoanalytic version of the constitution of modern societies pointed in Totem and Taboo will be faced with the theses of contractualist foundation of the State, developed by Hobbes and Rousseau, in the view of the criticisms of Freud’s reflection on the State as a guarantor of order. We will take as the main axis the problem of equality, which can be challenged with the concept of narcissism of small differences. When we take the drive force’s destinies in the constitution of the social, seeing its limits, we will check how Freud architects this idea, and then we move to the criticism of the precarious political harmony among men.
