The theory and clinical practice of psychoanalysis is the ground for the development of a General Conception of Care to be understood and used by care-takers like mothers and fathers, physicians, teachers, social workers etc, and, last but not least, by psychoanalysts themselves. Aspects of the care activities are analyzed - associated to the different figures of the “otherness” or positions of the care-taker - and dangers of misusing of care (maniac reparation and perversions) are appointed.
