Abstract

Having as a starting point the discourse made for the doctoral thesis defence “The voice and the invocation to music the life: resonances between music and psychoanalysis”, the text presents the construction of this thesis by highlighting the falls and alterations of its title, proposing, as a consequence, a reflection on the articulation between the psychoanalysis and the music. It is focused the concepts of the psychoanalytical object ‘voice’, the invocatory drive and the structural resonance between real, symbolic and imaginary in the creation of a singular voice, timbre and rhythm of the subject. At the end, an answer to the intervention of the jury of defence is elaborated.
