Resumen

MARTON, Scarlett. New lyres for new songs: reflections upon language in Nietzsche’s philosophy. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2007, vol.30, n.44, pp. 32-39. ISSN 0101-3106.

This paper aims at showing that Nietzsche’s criticism of language is on the basis of his criticism of truth and of a certain conception of knowledge. It intends also to show that Nietzsche establishes a close relationship between thought, language and consciousness, in order to criticize metaphysics. And it maintains the idea that Nietzsche is not a thinker who fights against language’s nets, but he is the philosopher who turns language against itself in order to create a new language.

Palabras clave : Knowledge; Consciousness; Language; Nietzsche; Truth.
