Abstract

JUNQUEIRA FILHO, Luiz Carlos Uchôa. Between creation and invention: the search for form in George Steiner, Wilfred Bion and Rem Koolhaas. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2013, vol.36, n.56, pp. 161-175. ISSN 0101-3106.

The central question in this article is the limitation of the word and language in the register and communication of emotional experience. Bion tried to surpass this limitations creating a "language of science fiction", to integrate mystical, aesthetical and scientific-philosophical vertices. I found in the work of George Steiner a rich material in order to help us to understand form springing from philosophical and poetical poiesis. Finally, I mention the concept of "junkspace", built by the architect Rem Koolhaas.

Keywords : Form; Creation; Invention; Metapsychology.
