Going on to address different dimensions of the secret in psychoanalysis, the paper travels via the myth of Oedipus as the founding tripartite enigma, arriving finally at the documentary film, History of a secret. Through this narrative, the author outlines the vicissitudes of the metamorphosis implicated in the interplay between secrecy and revelation, drawing parallels with the analytical process and its tranferencial and counter-transferential secrets.
