JUNQUEIRAFILHO, Luiz Carlos Uchôa. Ulysses' stroll between the mythic and the profane. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2021, vol.43, n.72, pp. 142-149. ISSN 0101-3106.

The aim of this paper is to elucidate why the Homeric Ulysses was James Joyce's chosen hero, allowing his Ulysses to engender a contrast between the mythic and the profane. As a sound benefit to psychoanalytical vertex, some colloquial examples of consciousness flow are given.

Palabras clave : James Joyce; Odysseus; mythical; profane.
