Abstract

JORGE, Selma T. O. Fernandes. Achievement word. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2022, vol.44, n.73, pp.73-82. ISSN 0101-3106.

In this work, I propose a dialogue between João Cabral, through his book "Death and life of Severino" (1954-1955), and psychoanalysis, both under the aspect of semiotics and Cândido Portinari. I will consider, for this goal, art as a symbolic field of lived emotional experiences; an aesthetic experience where writing and painting will require from the creative being a self emptiness of each and every belief (possession) that substitutes the space of faith (experience of waiting) in benefit of the creation.

Keywords : transformations; aesthetic experience; semiotics.
