Abstract

HENDERSON, Guilherme  and  CHATELARD, Daniela. Considerations about the division of the subject and the object in love-choices. Reverso [online]. 2021, vol.43, n.82, pp. 35-42. ISSN 0102-7395.

The psychoanalytic clinic is not restricted to an application of a technique to reduce symptoms. The analyst listens to narratives, fantasies that repeat themselves in individual and family history. The love-choice can impose on the subject difficulties, not necessarily symptoms, but which have an unconscious logical structure. The aim of this article is to analyze two examples of Lacan in the text The Myth Individual of the Neurotic (1952) and, with Freud's work on the psychology of love, propose an understanding of what can creates problems in love choice: symptoms and fantasies.

Keywords : Symptom; Fantasy; Love-choice.
