This article is a translation of Green's text that introduces his work denominated The clinical thought. In this work, the author considers the importance of thinking the psychoanalytic clinic through the richness of the encounter of the analytical pair, from the propositions of Freud, developing original concepts that will give a certain contemporary luminosity to the themes addressed.
