Abstract

The objective of the present study is the analysis of the development of creativity and autonomy in children, according to the authors Jean Piaget and Lev S. Vygotsky. According to their theories, this study will discuss the role of education in autonomy and creativity development. In order to achieve the proposal, the activities that kids use to be involved at school will be put forward for consideration in terms of development of intelligence and imagination (creativity). So, some points related to the learning methodology, physical and inter-relational spaces of classrooms and the quality of school's activities are discussed here. In this discussion, the knowledge of teachers about children development (cognitive, social, moral) and necessities are essential and very serious.
