Abstract

My theme is Bion's comments, published in his work Second thoughts (1967), about his article "The imaginary twin" (1950). I use this theme in order to produce variants on the passage of time in our psychoanalytic pathway. I write about the way past certainties turn out to be relative in the present, and especially about the way our current certainties will become relative in the future.
