The experience of directing the documentary Tie and red nails has led me to the idea of performed sexuality, and has made me question some psychoanalytic concepts. Clothing as a second skin has made me rethink the concepts of mask and veil, based on Joan Riviere's work. By assuring there are only countenances either male or female, the Lacanian thinking has enabled us to debate. Every love encounter produces countenances. In other words, there are countless possibilities of encounters.
