Abstract

SANDLER, Ester Hadassa. Triple disconcertment for practice, technique, and theory in child psychoanalysis. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2016, vol.50, n.3, pp. 76-90. ISSN 0486-641X.

In this article, I take the word disconcertment in its different connotations so as to discuss: the emotions aroused in the analyst by unusual occurrences during the work with children; the mismatch that can happen between the reality of these clinical experiences and some theoretical-technical canons; and some aspects of the processes involved in the analytical function of the analyst.

Keywords : child psychoanalysis; disconcertment; disconcertment; theory of technique; analytical function.
