Abstract

For some years, the author worked as a psychiatrist of adolescents who were institutionalized at several units of Fundação Casa. As the author has started feeling invaded and pressured by memories from that time, the work of writing has revealed itself to be useful to elaborate his experiences. The narrative follows part of his routine every Wednesday morning. It exposes the physical and transferential environment of both the institution and the psychiatric care of one of his patients. The following article is, at the same time, a clinical report, a treatment by writing, and a confession.
