Abstract

CATHARINO, Tânia Ribeiro. Formation of psychologists, curriculum and subjectivity. Temas psicol. [online]. 1998, vol.6, n.1, pp.09-19. ISSN 1413-389X.

This paper proposes to think the formation of psychologists. For this, I analyse the pedagogical work at the level of a politics of subjectivity. It's disclosed through a research that evidences the realization of the curriculum in the classroom. Such research approaches two faculties of Psychology - one public and the other private - of the county of Rio de Janeiro and has as main instrument, the open interview. On focussing the pedagogical work I try to approach as a process, whose product does not confuse with the simple profissionalization, sending us to a much more complex material: the subjectivity of the professional "psy" is modeled from the relations knowledge - power that are present in formation courses. I also point to the hiding of this productive aspect of the pedagogical work, which is crystallized in models, assumed by part of the actors involved - students and teachers - that on naturalizing a series of relations ignore the work as a process.

Keywords : production of subjectivity; formation of psychologists; pedagogical work.
