In this article, the author bridges the analyst's function to the poetic function. Starting from authors of the theory of literature like Jakobson and Berardinelli, the concept of analytic function is worked, above all, in its connections to poetry. Poetry and art in general appear as necessary conditions for the quality of the early parent-infant interactions, whose main authors are also listed. A brief clinical description in which these excerpts are present completes the article.
