This consists in the mapping of comments by Merleau-Ponty regarding the freudian concept of unconscious as well as the meaning of the psychoanalytic clinic. Our hypothesis is that the consideration of the thematic dislocations made by Merleau-Ponty throughout his work might clarify the shift in evaluation that the concepts of unconscious and clinical practice deserved between the first and last merleau-pontynian works.
