The present work is oriented by Jacques Lacan's teachings, especially in the seminar seven, The Ethics of Psychoanalysis, to clarify the relations that exist between sublimation and desire, starting out from sublimation as a paradox in relation to jouissance, because at the same time that transgress it, it puts a limit creating the field of desire. But also indicating the presence of desire as another paradox since it requires to keep the tendency in perspective, which introduces a certain discontent.
