Abstract

SUEHIRO, Adriana Cristina Boulhoça  and  SANTOS, Acácia Aparecida Angeli dos. The Bender and learning difficulties: validity criteria study. Aval. psicol. [online]. 2005, vol.4, n.1, pp. 23-31. ISSN 1677-0471.

This study searched for evidence of criteria validity to the Bender Sistema de Pontuação Gradual (B-SPG) comparing groups based on both learning difficulties criteria (strong/average/light/without cues). 287 second-third-grade children of both genders and aged from 7 to 10 years, attending at public and private elementary schools in São Paulo. A identification questionnaire, the Escala de Avaliação de Dificuldades na Aprendizagem da Escrita (ADAPE), and the nine figures of the Bender-Sistema de Pontuação Gradual (B-SPG) were collectively administered in one session. The results allowed to identify criteria-validity evidences when comparing the criteria of learning difficulties to the Bender-Sistema de Pontuação Gradual (B-SPG) scores.
