Abstract

OLMOS, Jozelia Regina Díaz  and  HENRIQUES, Wilma Magaldi. Reflection group: perforating masks, raising suspicions and rescuing passions. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2006, vol.7, n.2, pp. 1-10. ISSN 1677-2970.

This paper presents the Reflection Group carried out with educators at the Entidades Conveniadas meeting - Posto Grande Leste, New Pathways Project, which cares for adolescents from 12 to 18 years old, fulfilling a socio-educative measure of Assisted Freedom and Community Services, by the Judiciary Power. Before the Meeting, we sent 30 questionnaires to the educators’ participants and 23 answers revealed the comprehension about their actions. They understand the individual outside social relations and favor the clinical approach of analysis, restricting themselves to a work with little social reaching, frustrating and naïve, since they do not have the perception of how ideological is by the use of symbolic, concealed forms, which create and reproduce unequal and unfair relations of domination. With this scenario in mind, we reflected about socialization and exclusion-inclusion as dialectics processes; education as a possible dream which demands daily thinking about practice to discover its limits and reaches; and caring as an attitude of “responsibilization” and affective involvement with the other.

Keywords : Reflection group; Exclusion; Inclusion; Education.
