Abstract

This article, unpublished in Portuguese, approaches the question of overabuse of psychoative substances, considerating the many interrogations that exist on the "dependences clinic". The text articulates the caracteristics of the overabuse of substances with the contemporary cultural and social changes. It sugests that the treatment must be conduct based on two levels of diagnostic: the social symptom and the subjective symptom.
