Abstract

RODRIGUES, Felipe Viegas  and  JR., Alfredo Pereira. Contribution of drum study for the development of general psycho-motor abilities. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2005, vol.4, pp. 55-60. ISSN 1806-5821.

This research verified if there was a correlation between the study of drums, in a time interval of 6 months, with a better performance in two tests of general psychomotor abilities, which were created especially for this research. The results show a positive correlation, confirming another similar research; however, the complexity of factors involved in the process demand a continuity of the inquiry, adding experiments of control to discard the occurrence of a learning effect of the used test.
