Abstract

SPONHOLZ, Liriam. Between common sense and science: the hybrid knowledge of journalism. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2007, vol.10, pp. 02-14. ISSN 1806-5821.

Abstract This article discusses journalism as a process of knowledge. Contrary to the thesis, that journalism should not be considered a science as it is simply common sense, we presume that it is neither science nor common sense. Therefore we have studied the meaning of knowledge and what characterizes classical type like common sense and science. In the following we compare journalism with those two classical forms of knowledge. © Ciências & Cognição 2007; Vol. 10: 02-14.
