Resumo

The study aims to examine how to configure the deployment of the first year of elementary school for nine years in four particular situations. Specifically we focus our attention to the school organization, planning and actions of education provided and / or developed in the teaching in the sciences. The study, based in the theoretical framework proposed by Bakhtin and Charlot, which social practices situated in the genesis of specific human, highlighting the role of this process and other semiotic mediation, which involved four teachers working in three private institutions, two of them Maringá and two of Londrina, state of Paraná, in the year 2007. The results indicate that in spite of a lack of aid on the specificity of this new year into the basic education regarding the teaching work being done in general and the teaching of science, in particular, the performance of each professional resulted in a special combination of different factors that influence each other: the group of children, pressure from parents, resources, knowledge and previous experience in development and specific context of school
